Business Development
August's clearest commercial signal was that CBTC is moving beyond a single use case. BitSafe signed more than a dozen agreements with wallets, trading venues and a lending platform, creating more ways for users to hold, trade and put CBTC to work.
Where the network expanded
Wallet access broadened. Canton Wallet, Republic Wallet, Walley and Modulo signed agreements to bring CBTC into products users already rely on.
Trading distribution deepened. Pool Party, Cantory, Cardiv, Kora, Clavius, Cantor8 and IBEX expanded the set of order-book, request-for-quote and on-chain venues preparing to support CBTC.
A lending use case opened. Alpend extends CBTC beyond wallets and exchanges, creating another potential source of recurring use.
Product & Engineering
August's engineering work centered on deepening BitSafe's native Canton support and turning that infrastructure into things partners can run and rely on.
Live adoption
CBTC on Grofty Wallet — users can now access CBTC through the live wallet integration.
CBTC on Cantor8 — CBTC is now live on the trading venue, expanding where it can be traded.
Decentralization Manager
Node operators are adopting DecMan. External node operators are now installing and running Decentralization Manager on their own infrastructure — a sign the product is moving from internal tool to something partners want to operate themselves.
Governance actions are moving further onto Canton. BitSafe strengthened its native Canton support by moving attestor governance actions — including key generation and reshare — onto Canton directly, continuing a broader migration of all governance actions into Decentralization Manager's governance flow design system.
Attestor signing security is close to an upgrade. The team is nearly ready to ship FROST-based improvements to how the attestor stack signs.
Partner operations & rewards
New partners can be added to CBTC reporting more consistently. Newly signed partners were added to the systems that measure CBTC transactions and calculate rewards, giving them a clearer record of attributed activity while reducing one-off setup work.
Reward formulas kept pace with the current model. Canton's planned activity-based reward model (CIP-0104) didn't launch this month, so the team redirected that work into supporting the current Featured App reward formulas, which are based on transaction size with a cap.
The partner rewards system kept maturing. BitSafe onboarded new partners and expanded the venue tier programme, improving how rewards are attributed and paid out.
Marketing & PR
Marketing's role this month was to help partners launch, explain BitSafe's products, turn interest into commercial conversations and improve measurement.
The Decentralization Manager launch established an awareness baseline. Paid distribution produced 74 prime placements and 520 syndications. Owned and partner activity generated roughly 30,000 estimated X impressions during the first seven days, while the launch email produced 974 unique opens and 59 unique clickers. These are distribution signals, not proof of adoption.
External validation strengthened the product story. BitSafe announced an additional 13.04M CC grant for shared-governance infrastructure and introduced Palladium as the first team building on Decentralization Manager on Canton mainnet. Palladium will count as live after completing a production governance decision.
CBTC campaigns reached partner audiences. HackCanton attracted 29 projects; 20 entered the CBTC challenge and seven demonstrated credible CBTC movement or locking. Co-marketing also supported Pool Party by Send, CanPay and Kora v2.
Interest is beginning to turn into commercial conversations. Outreach to 41 potential Decentralization Manager users produced booked calls, technical evaluations and onboarding activity. BitSafe can now record which marketing channels introduce or influence sales opportunities and is adding CBTC activity to account records. The full path from campaign to product adoption is not yet visible.
Partner enablement improved. BitSafe completed a major documentation-site revamp for application developers, node operators and trading firms. September partner campaigns involving incentives and leaderboards will be evaluated on attributable activity and retention—not reach alone.
Team
Marketing hiring remains active. BitSafe is interviewing for a Marketing Manager focused on demand generation and a Content Marketing Manager focused on research-driven content and distribution.
How You Can Help
For ecosystem and product partners
Activate CBTC — help identify the product, liquidity or campaign change most likely to turn a signed integration into recurring use.
Evaluate Decentralization Manager — introduce Canton application teams that need shared governance or supported deployment.
Extend partner distribution — join a coordinated launch, adopter story or technically substantive campaign.
For investors and connectors
Institutional liquidity — introduce trading firms and market makers that can support CBTC across spot, lending and derivatives venues.
Marketing leadership — refer a hands-on Marketing Manager who can turn product and partner momentum into qualified pipeline.
